Gold Shield
Dhal is the native name of a shield in the Indian language. It’s used by the warrior to protect himself from the attacks of a weapon in the battle. This Shield or dhaal is made of steel, 18 inches in diameter, and wrapped in genuine leather. A layer of pure gold leaves is pasted on leather and painted with oil colors to highlight the images. This shield depicts 4 hunting scenes of the tiger with different animals. All the 4 bosses of the shield are also covered with gold leaves.
