Wagh Nakh: The Legendary Claw Weapon of Warriors

The Wagh Nakh, also known as the tiger claw, is a weapon that originated in the Indian subcontinent. Maratha warriors widely used it, and the most famous instance was when Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj used it to kill the Bijapur general, Afzal Khan. Nihang Sikhs also favor this weapon, often holding it in their left hand while wielding a sword in the right. In Punjabi, it’s called Sher Panja.

Designed to be worn over the knuckles or hidden under the palm, the Wagh Nakh consists of four curved blades attached to a crossbar or glove. Its purpose is to cut through skin and muscle efficiently. The claws are made of carbon steel, while the crossbar and rings are usually brass.

    Order 2 for my personal collection. It’s a great product. The quality offered by the shree amritsar sword is the best in class. I earlier purchased from some other shopkeepers also in punjab and maharashtra but none of them stands near this product. I highly recomend for this nakha.
