Description
Jambiya
Jambiya or Janbiya is an Arabian dagger with a short curved blade, originated from Yemen. Janbiya knives were also found in the Ottoman, Afghanistan, and various parts of western and central India. The hilt is the most significant part of a Jambiya/ Janbiya Dagger, it was made from rhinoceros horn, ivory, wood, or precious metals to display the status symbol and assets of the wearer. The blade of this Jambiya knife is made of carbon steel with a ridge in the middle of the blade accompanied by 2 fullers. The length of the blade is 10 inches and the total length is 16 inches with sheath. The sheath is made of wood with red leather wrapping on it.
