Forged from High Carbon Steel (EN31), the blade is crafted for durability, sharpness, and balance. With a hardness rating of 42–43 HRC, it ensures strength and flexibility in perfect measure. The blade measures 13 cm in length and 2.5 cm in breadth, designed with ideal proportions for both ceremonial and aesthetic value. The kirpan’s total length is 22.5 cm, extending to 24.4 cm with its sheath, maintaining the traditional Taksali form admired across generations.

The hilt and scabbard, both crafted with a base of iron, are richly decorated with Koftgari artwork. An artwork in which a 24kt pure silver wire is damascened on iron, creating different figures and patterns. This exquisite silver inlay work displays intricate floral patterns—an ancient decorative technique that symbolizes purity, divinity, and artistic excellence. The Koftgari art on both the hilt and the scabbard enhances its regal appearance, creating a brilliant interplay between silver and steel that exudes grace and reverence.

Weighing approximately 184 gm (258 gm with sheath), each handcrafted kirpan carries subtle variations that make every piece truly unique.
