Description

Teg Sword

This is an Indian broad sword also known as Teg sword in India, but light in weight as compared to other Teg Swords (Indian broad swords) which are bit heavy than normal swords. Teg’s were mostly carried by army generals or commanders on the battlefield. There are several examples in the Indian battle history of slashing the enemy together with his armour in 2 pieces with a Teg. The length of the blade is 31 inches and the total length is 39 inches. The blade is made of carbon steel, it’s fully defensive. To make the blade more durable designer hand made plate of soft steel is riveted on the back of the blade.
